Svelte Navbar - Flowbite

The navbar component can be used to show a list of navigation links positioned on the top side of your page based on multiple layouts, sizes, and dropdowns

Get started with the responsive navbar component from Flowbite to quickly set up a navigation menu for your website and set up the logo, list of pages, CTA button, search input, user profile options with a dropdown, and more.

Setup

<script>
  import { Navbar, NavBrand, NavLi, NavUl, NavHamburger } from 'flowbite-svelte'
</script>

Default navbar

Use this example of a navigation bar built with the utility classes from Tailwind CSS to enable users to navigate across the pages of your website.

<Navbar let:hidden let:toggle>
  <NavBrand href="/">
    <img
      src="https://flowbite.com/docs/images/logo.svg"
      class="mr-3 h-6 sm:h-9"
      alt="Flowbite Logo"
    />
    <span class="self-center whitespace-nowrap text-xl font-semibold dark:text-white">
      Flowbite
    </span>
  </NavBrand>
  <NavHamburger on:click={toggle} />
  <NavUl {hidden}>
    <NavLi href="/" active={true}>Home</NavLi>
    <NavLi href="/about">About</NavLi>
    <NavLi href="/services">Services</NavLi>
    <NavLi href="/pricing">Pricing</NavLi>
    <NavLi href="/contact">Contact</NavLi>
  </NavUl>
</Navbar>

This example can be used to show a secondary dropdown menu when clicking on one of the navigation links.

<script>
  import { Navbar, NavBrand, NavLi, NavUl, NavHamburger, Dropdown, DropdownItem, Chevron, DropdownDivider } from 'flowbite-svelte'
</script>

<Navbar let:hidden let:toggle>
  <NavBrand href="/">
    <img
      src="https://flowbite.com/docs/images/logo.svg"
      class="mr-3 h-6 sm:h-9"
      alt="Flowbite Logo"
    />
    <span class="self-center whitespace-nowrap text-xl font-semibold dark:text-white">
      Flowbite
    </span>
  </NavBrand>
  <NavHamburger on:click={toggle} />
  <NavUl {hidden}>
    <NavLi href="/" active={true}>Home</NavLi>
    <NavLi id="nav-menu1" class="cursor-pointer"><Chevron aligned>Dropdown</Chevron></NavLi>
    <NavLi href="/services">Services</NavLi>
    <NavLi href="/pricing">Pricing</NavLi>
    <NavLi href="/contact">Contact</NavLi>
    <Dropdown triggeredBy="#nav-menu1" class="w-44 z-20">
      <DropdownItem>Dashboard</DropdownItem>
      <DropdownItem>Settings</DropdownItem>
      <DropdownItem>Earnings</DropdownItem>
      <DropdownDivider />
      <DropdownItem>Sign out</DropdownItem>
    </Dropdown>
  </NavUl>
</Navbar>

Use this example of a navbar element to also show a search input element that you can integrate for a site-wide search.

<script>
  import { Navbar, NavBrand, NavLi, NavUl, NavHamburger, Button, Input } from 'flowbite-svelte'
</script>

<Navbar let:hidden let:toggle>
  <NavBrand href="/">
    <img
      src="https://flowbite.com/docs/images/logo.svg"
      class="mr-3 h-6 sm:h-9"
      alt="Flowbite Logo"
    />
    <span class="self-center whitespace-nowrap text-xl font-semibold dark:text-white">
      Flowbite
    </span>
  </NavBrand>
  <div class="flex md:order-2">
